Jeffrey R. CHASNOV

BiographyDr Chasnov is an Associate Professor in Mathematics at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He received a BA and PhD in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and Columbia University in New York City, respectively. He had postdoctoral appointments at the NASA Goddard Institute for Space Studies, also in New York City, and at the Center for Turbulence Research, jointly sponsored by Stanford University and the NASA Ames Research Center in Northern California. He was a visiting research scholar for six months at the Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France before coming to Hong Kong in 1993. |
