Course Description:
A sequel to MATH 1013. Topics include applications of definite integrals, integration techniques, improper integrals, infinite sequences and infinite series, power series and Taylor series and vectors.
3 credit units.
Prerequisite: MATH 1013 or MATH 1023
Exclusion: AL Pure Mathematics; Al Applied Mathematics; MATH 1003, MATH 1018, MATH 1020, MATH 1024; any MATH course at or above 100-/200- level.
Textbook:
Calculus for Scientists and Engineers Early Transcendentals (First Edition), by W. Briggs, L. Cochran and B. Gillett, published by PEARSON.

• Chapter 6. Applications of Integrals (6.1-6.7)
• Chapter 7. Integration Techniques (7.1-7.5, 7.7-7.8)
• Chapter 9. Sequences and Infinite Series (9.1-9.6)
• Chapter 10. Power Series (10.1-10.3)
• Chapter 11. Parametric and Polar Curves (11.2-11.3)
• Chapter 12. Vectors and Vector-Valued Functions (12.1-12.4)
