Course Description:
A sequel to MATH 1013. Topics include applications of definite integrals, integration techniques, improper integrals, infinite sequences and infinite series, power series and Taylor series and vectors.
3 credit units.
Prerequisite: MATH 1013 or MATH 1023
Exclusion: AL Pure Mathematics; Al Applied Mathematics; MATH 1003, MATH 1018, MATH 1020, MATH 1024; any MATH course at or above 100-/200- level.
Textbook:
Calculus for Scientists and Engineers Early Transcendentals (First Edition), by W. Briggs, L. Cochran and B. Gillett, published by PEARSON.

Suggestions to students:
a. Attend lectures and tutorial classes on time
b. Make use of the existing resources (math support center, office hour, etc.)
c. If for some reason that you have to skip a class, you shall be responsible for the materials missed.

Midterm Exam (33%) - Date: 30-Mar-2014 , Venue: L5 in LTA or LTE, L6 in LTB . Sample can be found here.
Final Exam (55%) - Time: 4.30pm - 7.30pm, 19-May-2014, Venue: Sports Hall . Sample can be found here with the brief answers to it.
